The inaugural Bronte Harbour Classic sold out, and we have yet to meet a single person who did not love it. Runners, families, volunteers, vendors — the feedback was the same across the board: do it again, and make it bigger.
So we did. A brand-new 10K, more room on the start line, and the same waterfront festival that turned race morning into an all-day party.

5K participants 8 years and older. Younger participants are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run is open to children ages 2–12.

The 2026 finisher medal was cast in antique silver — solid, substantial, hand-finished. The Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star anchored the top. Below it: the Bronte lighthouse, the marina, the waterfront — sculpted in deep relief.
Shown here is the 2026 model. The 2027 medal design is being finished now and will be revealed later this year — and it is even better.

There will never be another first-edition BHC medal. The runners who earn it on June 21 will have something that can't be recreated — the inaugural Bronte Harbour Classic, Year 1, at the start line of a tradition.

Entry Change Policy
We plan well in advance — ordering supplies, coordinating logistics, and caring for hundreds of participants. That means we incur costs early. Here's how we handle changes to your entry.
Deferral
Defer your entry to the following year's race, subject to timing of your cancellation.
Transfer
Transfer your entry to another participant, when possible, subject to timing of your request.
Refund
Refund available on entry fees based on timing of cancellation. Note: processing fees cannot be refunded.

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic is on Sunday, June 20, 2027 -- Father's Day -- at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, 2340 Ontario Street, Oakville, Ontario. The Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run starts at 8:00 AM and both the 5K and the 10K start at 8:30 AM. The Father's Day Waterfront Festival runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and is free for everyone to attend.
Three. A chip-timed 5K that you can run or walk, a chip-timed 10K that is run only (no walkers), and the Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run for children ages 2-12. The 10K is new this year. The Speak Squad Kids 1K is not timed -- every participant receives a finisher medal.
There are three races. The Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run starts at 8:00 AM. The 5K and the 10K both start at 8:30 AM. We recommend arriving by 7:00 AM if you are running the 5K or 10K — and no later than 7:45 AM if you are running the Kids 1K — to allow time for parking, bib pickup, and warm-up. Race kit pickup (bib + timing chip) will be available on race morning at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, and we expect to offer earlier pickup windows in the days before the race as well. Pickup dates, times, and locations will be confirmed closer to race day and emailed to every registrant.
Yes! The course is entirely flat, smooth, and paved along the Bronte Harbour waterfront. It is fully stroller-friendly and accessible for runners of all abilities.
A full refund is available up to 30 days before race day (May 21, 2027). After that date registrations are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another person up to 7 days before race day (June 13, 2027) through your Race Roster account, or by contacting us at greg@tapegeeks.com. If you can no longer make it but still want the medal and shirt, you can switch your entry to the virtual race up to May 30, 2027 instead of cancelling — email greg@tapegeeks.com. Deferrals to a future year are not available. If the event is cancelled by the organizers, full refunds will be issued.
